Physical
Physically a 25 year old, naturally brown hair dyed jet black. She’s 5’8”, and 125lbs. Not very curvy, but she’s good at creating the illusion with her style. She has a few freckles on her face, and a tracheostomy scar on her neck. Also a small G-tube scar above her belly button. Both are barely noticeable, more a crease with slight discoloration. She’s usually wearing pinup makeup and rockabilly clothes. Casual dress is skinny jeans and a plaid shirt, hair in a ponytail. Lately she’s been keeping “suicide bangs”. Face claim is Felicity Jones but add black hair.

Demeanor
Claire has both elements of Eva and someone new. Still modest, but not quite as much as she used to be as Eva. She’s more assertive, and hardened by circumstance, but not completely. She’s resolute, and is proud of herself for climbing out of her hole and continuing on with life. She went to a community college for “basic” courses and is almost finished with a nursing degree. She spends her (little) free time at the racetrack, or when it’s warm in her flower garden. She’s diligent about housework and organization but isn’t the greatest chef. Because of this, she very easily accepts an invitation out for dinner.
Even in the racing off season, Claire makes time for her “racing/car show” buddies. They have cruises where they will meet up and drive to an abandoned drive-in near Gold Bar, then set up lawn chairs and hang, sometimes even cooking out and/or having drinks. These cruises are usually in the spring. Car shows are in the summer and racing is in the fall.

Quick History
Disclaimer: Claire’s history isn’t “quick” and it’s difficult to explain. I’ll make an attempt, but if you’re still confused message me xD.
Claire Trevino started out as Evangeline Hawke, a newly graduated music teacher from Gold Bar, WA. She had a sister and a mother and a father, a romance with Logan Byrne, and was pregnant with his child. It was all fine and dandy until Eva, along with her parents and sister, mysteriously disappeared.
It actually started with the turning of her sister, Elizabeth, into a vampire. A well-intended baby vampire, she wanted to say her goodbyes to her parents before skipping town to adjust to her new life, but overcome with hunger, she attacked and fed. She hid in the shadows as pregnant Eva came into the house for a visit - to find the horrifying scene of her bloodied and mauled parents lying on the floor. An excruciating emotional pain set off a similar physical pain, the pain of miscarriage. At that time, Elizabeth had to do something to keep Eva from feeling the pain and loss. She hurried to her and compelled her to “be someone else”.
But it didn’t work out as planned, and it’s possible there were more forces at hand. Instead of Eva creating a new identity for herself, she was (accidentally) possessed by the spirit of her unborn baby. “They” wake up in a hospital in Seattle some time later, and it doesn’t end there. The spirit identifies as Michelle, and takes charge, Eva not having much fight after the tragedy she’d experienced. After some time, finally, an outsider (medium/necro) was able to see the situation and help was finally found. Highly experimental for all parties involved, a soulless, comatose body was found (Claire Trevino) and Michelle was meant to be cast into it, but instead Michelle hung around, and Eva found a new life in Claire. To this day she is still adjusting, and dealing with the memories (and lack of) of her old life.
Now both “Claire” and Michelle appear to be fighting fate, as both have the strong feeling that they are not meant to be alive, or at least that their existence is slightly… off. Both have a pull towards death, Michelle stronger as her life was meant to end with the miscarriage. Claire herself only feels a certain discord with her body but still has a pull toward danger. This is sated by the excitement of high speed driving, usually legal on the drag strip but keeps the secret that she takes “drives” on her own that reach highly dangerous speeds on broken roads.
Relationships
Michelle Hawke - “Daughter”
Until recently, Claire had a severe hatred for Michelle, feeling like her life had been stolen from her. In part, this was because Claire didn’t particularly understand what had happened. The realization of just who Michelle is, and the fact that they both had been through something as strange as this, has created a bond between the two. Claire feels like Michelle is an entirely new kind of relationship, not quite a daughter - but she still feels protective. She’s accepted they have to figure out their life together.
Logan Byrne - Love Interest
At first, Claire avoided Logan because he was a reminder of her painful loss. But running into him after she’d all but pushed her old life away was different. It’s not that she was reminded of why she fell in love with him - she just fell in love with him again for the same reasons. The more time she spends around him, the more memories she regains about her old life. She loves the idea of someone who loved both who she was and who she is.
Helios Talon - Old acquaintance?
Immediately following Eva’s transfer into Claire, she met Helios joined the Army of God out of anger, but it never suited her, and she never found a connection to the cause even if she felt wronged. She never felt like the experience did anything to heal her, so she simply moved on. Her time with them was extremely brief and she isn’t even sure he’d remember her if he saw her.
Shane Mathis - Enemy
Claire was briefly duped into dating Shane because Shane thought he could find information from her, a greater understanding of how a soul could permanently occupy a different vessel. It only took a few dates, and an encounter with Logan for Claire to see Shane’s true colors.
